PRESENTS
Oh Johnny
A one-woman clown play about séances, second chances, and a medium who can’t quite reach the other side.
☆ Best of Fringe — San Francisco Fringe Festival, 2025
Gildana Desdemona was, for one glorious stretch, a celebrated prophetess. These days she has a parlor, a card table, and whatever is left of the gift.
Over the course of one evening she communes with the spirit realm, meets old flames, encounters new ones, foretells a future she cannot quite make out, and receives a great deal of unhelpful assistance from her late scene partner.
It is a séance. It is a comedy. It is, mostly, a woman refusing to leave the stage.
